I could look at people's Coleus pics all day! Beautiful plants, everyone!

I didn't buy any this year, these are saved & re-propagated plants.

The strongest and healthiest coleus that live on for years (through cuttings) are my treasures.

I agree. Saving cuttings is well worth the effort. My tower has finally taken off. The trailing coleus along the bottom will be saved for sure.

Here is the other side of the tower.

Some coleus pots in the driveway.

Porch pots are still rather small.

A few pots of coleus have already moved out to the sidewalk garden to fill in for the daylilies that are almost finished.

I have coleus variety that looks like your red one but I don't know the name since I pinched it from neighbor a few years back and have been doing cuttings overwinter for years. (I had neighbors permission btw). What is yours called??

From the top of your post the 4th 5th and 6th photo has a solid red coleus. Looks like one of mine. Do you know the name?

#5 is Spitfire and I think the other 2 are Red Fox Mainstreet Wall Street. Both are in the database. If you look at the earlier photo in this thread you can see the gold along the edge of some leaves that shows up when it is cooler.

Last year a coleus volunteer popped up in a pot of Crinum Menehune that lives with the bottom few inches of the pot submerged in a small pond. I removed that pot from the water for the winter months and the coleus disappeared so I assumed it froze and died. However, it is back in that Crinum pot and bigger than ever. Almost looks like a Kong but I have never had any of those around. Stands about 30" from the top of the pot.

Looks different than any I have seen before. I like it.

Here is the tower. Filling out more day by day. If you click it you can get an idea of the size by the size of my dog.

Thanks. I need to take notes this year of the ones that do the best in the tower. A few don't get as large as I'd like them to be.
