Any tips or pointers on how to pot this guy? I've had it in ground for about a year and it looks horrible!! Lol Crying

I would pot it up into a good free draining mix (slightly moist) at the same depth it was when in the ground. Leave it in a filtered light situation for 5 days and give a some water after 3 days.
Letting it rest in the new pot before watering will allow any damaged roots to heal prior to watering.

Well I would ask how deep was it planted, it looks so white, thinking maybe it was planted too deep, I would try shallow planting , but then I just do things my way Sighing!

I didn't plant it very deep and for some reason all the action it got was going up! Lol it's just skinny and long! Blinking Confused Sticking tongue out

Our Jim had one he named "Long Tall Sally. It was one or two stems, taller than six feet! There are a few really old ones here on St. Croix that are six or seven feet tall. They eventually branch. Look like small trees at 30 years old.
