Just playing around with the logo idea.

My first impression was that the light yellow background and light blue lettering was a bit pale, that maybe something a bit brighter would be cheerier .. but keeping it clean and simple like it is works just fine too. I don't like a lot of clutter to cause distraction on the homepage of a website but I know from what the Whitinger's created with DG and Cubits that their logo's/banner's will never be cluttered. I think someone mentioned and showed a drawing of a vine and little flower's for the banner and logo which would be perfect! Oh, and I agree with whoever suggested a Butterfly ... gotta include a butterfly!

Did someone suggest changing the logo using just the letters ATP (I thought I saw that suggestion somewhere?) When I first heard about All Things Plants over on cubits, the person posting referred to it as ATP, so I went searching for ATP.com ... and found a website for Aircraft Technical Publishers.

While the sight may be called ATP for short, I feel that we need to keep the full name on top.

I do, too. That way when we get mugs and t-shirts everyone seeing them will know automatically what All Things Plants is w/out having to guess what the initials stand for. Good thinking Dave and Trish.

Wish I knew how to do graphics I'd help out. (I'm just glad I know how to type and how to get my computer back up when it crashes! That's the limit of my computer skills! :>)

I love the simplicity of the home page. While I enjoy all the color of all the photos, badges, etc., once you get into the website, I enjoy the home page being very easy to navigate and not a lot of "stuff" blinking with lots of directions. Just sayin...

I agree, Vicki. I love the calming colors and simplicity of the top of every page.

I like the butterfly, simple and pretty.

But.....Becky, you and Vic are in cahoots, right? So even tho I totally agree with you, I have to insist on full disclosure.
