Here's a photo that I took of a Gulf Fritillary caterpillar eating on a Passion flower bud

That is definitely an odd looking caterpillar compared to ones I typically see. I do have a passion flower vine so maybe I will get to see one of those
thanks

Do you know what kind of passion vine you have? It will also likely attract Zebra Longwings. Their caterpillars are white with black bristles. By the way, neither caterpillar will sting you, but never touch one if you don't know! Here's the Zebra Longwing caterpillar.

The Zebra Longwing butterfly is our official state butterfly and looks like this.
