A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort!

Mark,

Interesting color pattern on the variegated one. It seems to me more a pattern than true variegation but that might make it much more stable too. Keep an eye on it!

The others look interesting too!

Awesome photos Mark. Were they all taken on the same day? Sure shows a lot of difference between them if taken the same date. Hurray!

A few more roller seedlings from last year. The variety amazes me. I have many more and use them in stone container plantings and in rock walls.

Mark,

I see most of yours have more the soboliferum type rounded rosettes rather than the starry hirtum types. My seedlings of 'Emerald Spring' X allioni 'yellow form' are also showing mostly the rounded form, with only one that I would call at all starry. One of the sister seedlings to Emerald Spring that I called Emerald Fountain but never introduced had the smaller leaves and rounded form. Helen was not fond of any roller (partly because they didn't sell well) so i never explored these lines too much. Anyway I'm glad you are as they are sduch useful plants. They will grow ANYWHERE.

What parents did you use? were any hirtum types?

Kevin

I did use hirta types but I didn't intentionally cross them.
