This was a "gift" plant sent to me by seller, and labeled vein pretender. However, when I view the picture in AHS, that looks quite different? Do you think this plant is mislabeled?

I had a look. Most definitely mislabeled. I would contact the seller.

Dayliles with that look can look very different bloom after bloom.
I say its right, especially if you got it from the hybridizer. (Blue ridge)

I certainly think it is mislabeled. If I were you, I'd email your pic to the place you bought it from. See what they say..
