I got an ugly black bowling ball ready to make into a great masterpiece now wondering if I should paint it before I start, but guess it won't show after I grout it
I think my biggest problem is getting started. These darn balls are so heavy!

Pegi, are you going to use a clear gluE? You may want to paint the ball a color other than black, mine is red and on some of the gems I put in you can see the red. I will finsih it today. and let you see the red "Hilites" Tell me how you like it.
Get some of those flat back gems. It comes with a mosiac, I got mine in a kit, it even had the cement...

I'm using E-6000 glue on my BB, still haven't discovered where I put my bag of grout so I may have to buy another bag. I'll find the first one then. Should have used a different color on my bowling ball, it is a hunter green, man it is hard on my eyes. I'll be sure and wear my latex gloves when working with the grout.
