Well, I don't want to sound like Machiavelli, but you probably don't need the cookies to get an Ag agent to answer one question.

But if I planned to be back often, I would want them to remember me as "that guy who brings cookies".

(And Skinner found that intermittent reinfo5rcement is even more effective than bringing cookies EVERY time.)

OK, I might be a Niccolo-wanna-be. But any time I try to be subtle, someone shakes their head and tells me: "Rick, NEVER try to play poker."

My vote is with Greene...
Apios americana.

I'd wait for a bloom and post at the plant id forum http://garden.org/forums/view/...

If you are lucky enough to have ground nut.... You might want to keep it...
There have been a LOT of people posting on seed forums begging for apios...

I recently found some again... and am still trying to out-wit the voles enough to get a stand going.

I was leaning towards Wisteria but I really think green and stone are onto something with Ground Nut (Apios americana)

This is apios americana. I have been raising a small patch of these for about ten years.

Maybe it takes a long time to grow, but remember that if nobody plants it, nobody has it.
