Even though I'm a beginner hybridizer, and amateur at that, I would like to do a lot of things with downfacing asiatics. I will be moving some lilies in the fall and planting others I'm sure so if any body has downfacing asiatics that they have extra of or would like to get rid of, let me know. I'm sure we could work out some trades......

Hi Joe! I have some downfacing American hybrids I really don't have room for (lots of other seedlings I need room for) these are pitkin X pink parvum seedlings crossed with each other (F2), very vigorous, lots of pink spotted and some orange spotted too. I also have to thin my Asiatics Pendant Peach, Pearl Jessica (pink) and Momentous all downfacing or outfacing. I probably have others to thin but it is too hot to spend much time outside. Sorry my orange Pearls are not having a good year and I don't know if I will have any-I know you wanted some. Everything I got from you is doing fine-so far. I do not know how they will tolerate another 2 months or more of hell on earth. I don't even know if I will survive.
Lisa

That sounds great Lisa especially those NA hybrids two. Forever Susan bloomed well and lemon sauce will pop any day now! Your stuff is doing excellent.

This is my list of out and downfacings (except strictum). I do have some species in seed flats that I certainly do not need to plant in my limited space (should be bloom size) and you may find them useful in breeding, plus PEARL SOPHIE (dark orange) fell over and has many stem bulblets forming, whether any of my lilies can survive this weather all the way until fall is the big question.

PITPAR SEEDLINGS(western american native species)
PENDANT PEACH
MOMENTOUS
L concolor v strictum
L amiable leuteum
L pumilum
PEARL SOPHIE, SMALL
PEARL LORRAINE, SMALL(I have to move it, it is getting squished)
PEARL JENNIFER(OUTFACING)

And I am always looking for species seed, I won't buy anymore, wasted a bunch of $ on some very expensive seed from another grower/breeder and had 0% germ, mine and JL HUDSON germinated fine sown at the same time/place.
