Lilies are looking great Tom - keep me in mind when you start thinning those lilies - I am sure you could use some more dahlia tubers nodding

I was told when given this one that it was Lady Alice. When I look at the pictures in the data base it seems to be more orange. Mine is more yellow. The shape is similar but the color is off, so I think this is a NOID.

It's kind of nice, but I'd like the stalks to be stronger. They tend to bend over when all of the blooms are open.

One of my favorite NOIDS, a white aurelian with fine markings in the throat. Very strong stem and seemingly immune to any bad thing that might come its way. There is virtually no FLOP with this lily! It is strongly 1c and difficult to photo inside of blooms. I'm still trying to figure out what it is fertile with.

Then there is this White Henryi forgery that I like. Flowers are a little larger than WH and the stigma is purple vs WH green.

Also another one opened that I don't know the name of.

tveguy3 said:A couple new ones open today. Both NOIDs. The first one I'd maybe remember the name if I heard it, not sure. It's a really tall one usually over 5 ft. tall and very fragrant.

Yes, I need to do some serious thinning! *Blush*

I think I have the first one - very tall and fragrant! I might be able to remember what it is. Think I got it from B&D lilies. Also the orange spotty one...

I had another new one open today, but the sun is too bright for good pictures, so I'll have to try tonight.

Here's Scheherazade, just opened this morning. The last of my new ones to open. There aren't many left to open now.

This one is really going to town now. It's right near my bedroom window, and if the breeze is from the right direction, oh my do I have a pleasant smell fall asleep to. Smiling

I will have to count them, I know there are a lot, as I had to support it some. A few are starting to decline now though. I don't think it's ever had that many before.

Conca d'or opened now.

I had to hurry and take a picture while I could, as a nasty storm is on the way.
