When I'm at work, instead of sitting in the lunchroom with everyone else, I like to sit in the small back office with the buckets and supplies. It's nice to be able to hear yourself think for a few minutes.

exactly! I don't understand why that isn't acceptable behaviour Glare it sure oughta be! If everyone went and spent a bit of time alone on breaks there'd be a lot less bickering in the workplace!

Believe it or not, Lee Anne, I never really came out of my shell, learning the gift of gab, until I worked in a gas station/convenience store. Sound familiar?

Having folks come in and chit chat a few minutes, some being regulars, some you'll never see again, kept the day interesting. I enjoyed it.

I ended up running that place like it was something off the Andy Griffith show, Mayberry. It was fun!

Hmmm...maybe that's what I need to do again, it's getting more and more difficult to run a small farm anymore so always have my eyes out (and ears open) for potential jobs I might enjoy.

Glad to have read your blog!

Keep smiling!
Shoe
