I just loved the way you described Fritz. I have tried to grow them, they bloomed the first year and have never come back. I would love to try again, this was one of my mothers favorite flowers.

I did plant him LOL! I first saw them in the Rose Garden in Hartford, CT and just had to have them. It is odd how some years they pop up and then the next nothing? Peculiar is just the kind of plant I like.
