I have a few bunches of blooms now, and a couple of huge seed pods. My plumeria (we call them Flor de Mayo) are on the roof, it's sort of like a utility porch here. I have a clothesline, a cow trough pond, and a bunch of plants that need really full, all day sun which I don't have in the garden. Also the dogs run around up there, that's Cuba in the picture.

These are the two most common types of plumeria here, I think the white and yellow one is a species. The pink and orange one loses most of its leaves in the winter but the white/yellow one only gets a little sparse but continues to bloom.

These are all of the plumeria, they are looking a little thirsty in this pic. We are nearing the end of our rainy season and I hadn't realized that it hadn't rained for several days. I have to now start remembering to check more often to see if I need to water.

Jonna, I hope you'll join my Plumeria forum.
I am interested to see more of the 'species' plumeria you have there!

Me too, Jonna. Definitely. Those shots are beautiful!! Thumbs up

I can officially join this forum since I am now the proud owner of one of Hetty's beautiful Plumerias. I am documenting its Tennessee journey (unless I kill it, of course, which hopefully won't happen). But I will document that too should it occur, just to be honest about it.

This is P. 'Mardi Gras' newly arrived in TN (but I sometimes want to call it 'New Orleans' so if I do, you'll know what I'm talking about). Hilarious!

Do I need to do anything else to join? I have this forum bookmarked and I've been reading it for a bit.

This is not the best time of year for blooms on the plumeria here, there are some always but at the end of the dry season, April/May the trees are covered in blooms.

I have in the back of my mind that I want to take pictures of the large plumeria trees here when I'm out and about. I took one at the grocery store the other day as I was going up on the escalator. All the grocery stores here have escalators to enter and exit and the shopping carts stick to the treads. That's one of the things my friends from the north always comment on, I guess it isn't as common there. Anyway, this is not a large plumeria but it is like my white one. There are about 6 trees along the front of the store and in the spring this line of trees is covered in blooms and the smell is wonderful as you go up and into the store.

If you are keeping it in a warm area it will still continue to grow a bit more for a while. Once it goes to sleep (and you will know when it does) stop watering.
