The other day my sister sent me this photo of a lily growing in the yard of her new house. It started to bloom just before she left for a week so I don't know if it opened further or not, but it is a surprising form!

Do any of you know of a lily like this? I just read the article by @Sharon about the Turk's Cap, and then looked at this picture, and it set me wondering.

It looks like L. lancifolium 'Flore Pleno', or double tiger lily.

I agree with Connie, Kyla. I think it's the double tiger lily, too.

Okay. I should have known, since it's not in the mountains. :)

I wasn't aware Tiger Lily made a double but that was my first guess.... My sister will be glad to know. Thank you both!
