Celebrating Gardening: 2015
My daughter in law was over today and she woke up to her whole garden beds and she has tons of flowers all stripped of all the leaves.....completely and quite a few buds as well.....
everything is stripped... quite a few got trampled so that will be deer for sure...... but likely rabbits

what happens to the lilies she had planted next year?? she had quite a few

told her to get a skunk bulb and try that next year .........works great for me........
never even lost a crocus here and there is lots of wildlife here too

That would have to be very discouraging for sure. Sad
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.

the chewed lilies will be fine once next spring arrives. they're tough as nails. other than being unsightly this year, they'll continue to grow this summer into fall, die back, and be good as new, and MUCH bigger next year. trim them up t make them look as neat as possible, but leave as many leaves on them as you can. they need them for catching the suns rays to promote osmosis.

Most the leaves are all gone, I seen them and just stems are there
she had some really nice lilies coming

I am going to buy her some skunk bulbs
although Brecks is not the best place to order bulbs all the time they have a great sale on them from there wholesale site
I think they are four for 17.00. I am planning on buying some more as well here
they work great for me.........and have always done that
they have to be crown imperials though
