My CAnna bulbs do quite well hiding things I don't need to stand out. They do look great and multiply so you have some to share. Comes in lots of varieties and colors.

Hi & welcome! I love Cannas and a tropical look too! Do you live where they are hardy?

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)

Hi and Welcome! . You're right about the cannas. I just bought a new potted plant, Tropicanna Black. I need to take some photos of it and post it. Do you have plant photos of your cannas that you can share with us? We love photos, don't we?

Hi and Welcome! to the crazy plant people. I guess I should speak for myself I know I am a real crazy plant lady because all my family and friends call me plant crazy.

You are so right if any one is looking for a tropical look you cannot beat cannas. I had a lot but I let them die one year because I did not bring them inside for the winter. I have been slowly replacing them. I like the ones with different color leaves because the flowers really are not anything to write home about.

I would love to see some of pics of your cannas.

These are the few I have replaced.

Intrigue is a tall canna. This one grew to 6' tall I put it in the garden next to a Rose of Sharon tree and it grew taller than the tree.

I planted Canna Tropicana and Intrigue in the same pot I will never do that again. By the end of summer you have to break the pot to get them out. *Blush*
