We stopped growing Phlox several years ago because of the tendency of the plant to turn brown and start dying off at the bottom and working its way up until nothing is left. It really is a great looking plant to grow and my wife and i both like them. Is there a treatment out there that prevents this? Ideas anyone?

David is the very best in my garden. I grow a number which are nice but David is clearly the best here.

I have one called Bright Eyes that has not had any problems like that. I've had it for 5 years now.
