This tree had white flowers in the Spring. And now has these berries. Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the flowers. The flowers came out after the leaves - or it could be evergreen - not sure just moved here in March. The leaves aren't really purple. That's just the way my camera picked up the shade.

Thanks Jolana. I checked images of Harlequin Glory Bower on-line and the flowers don't look right. They almost looked like Dogwood flowers, but not exactly.
