I would like to add a new plant that I purchased yesterday to the database. It is Vinca Minor Double Bowles . I do see an entry for Vinca Minor Bowles. Do I place this plant comment/growers report and/or photo there, or should there be a separate listing for my plant which has double instead of single blooms?

Deebie, You can add the plant by going to the database page and clicking on Add a new plant to the database, then enter the following information.

Primary common name: Vinca
Accepted Botanical Name: Vinca minor
Cultivar Name: Double Bowles (do not add quote marks)

Click on Proceed to Step 2

It will go into a queue for the database moderators and you will get a system message letting you know it's been added.

I forgot to say, it should be a separate entry because 'Double Bowles' is a different cultivar from the single version.

I will as soon as I can. It's not blooming right now.

But for now you could upload a photo of the entire plant and a close up of the leaves ... then when it blooms you could upload some flower photos! You will get an acorn for an entire plant photo, an acorn for a leaf photo etc.

You will also get TWO acorns for posting the first picture.

Yes, Vinca (Vinca minor 'Double Bowles') is now in the database ... we just need a few photos.

Hopefully @Deebie will upload photos of the plant and also leaf photos and flower pic's once her plant is in bloom.
