I have a mystery daylily that looks a LOT like the one in your picture, but might be just a bit more on the purple-red side versus orange-red (although it varies by day). Does yours occasionally have more of a blue-ish (kind of purple-red) cast sometimes, too? Do you happen to have a picture of the whole plant? Mine only measures about 22" or so, but was in shade where it was originally growing until I purchased it 2 weeks ago, so it's possible that might have affected its height, I think. Your answers might help me solve this daylily riddle once and for all!

The Photo was taken in the evening at 18:26 our time. I will look today how tall it is an try to make a Photo of the hole plant. But I must say that it is the first time after 4 years of waiting that it bloms. And most of this summer it´s raining here and it is difficult to say something about colour-changing, but I can show some more photos of blooming this year.

I tryed to make a photo of the plant, but there are too many others around (not enough space Sticking tongue out ). The scapes are 80-90 cm high.

Hm. That helps, thank you. Thank You!

Mine is probably something different (shorter), but I will know more next year when it has had a season to grow in full sun instead of the shade it was in when I bought it. Smiling
