Bummer! We had that higher than usual temps and less snow this last winter. I am very much a winter person and it's just not winter without the cold and snow! My native plants and birds are about the only thing that can get me outside this time of year. Smiling

Welcome! Chillybean. You and I are opposites. I hate winter, though we get little if any snow. Down here we only have brief periods of great weather, and that's a few weeks in the fall and in the spring. I tolerate summers. The heat and humidity is tough, and gets tougher the older I get.

If I am stuck with no winter, at least I have photos! This was taken a couple years ago when we were driving to meet others for a birding field trip. The trip leader couldn't get out of his driveway. We got to see the Pileated Woodpecker, so it was worth the trip. :)

instead of the....

6. cold/typical snow

Welcome, Chillybean! At least in winter's snow there's no weeding to be done!

I never thought of that. I weed year'round. Maybe four months of snow would be nice. Whistling

Welcome to All Things Plants, @Chillybean !

Here's some snow to cool all you hot southerners off a bit...
I'd rather be weeding!! Hilarious!

That applies here as well, Kelli. I would like a season where one could hibernate a while. Smiling

Thank you all for the welcomes. A nice treat on a day with a real feel of 100 degrees and ice packs on the Bluebird box to cool the babes. Smiling

I'd be happy with all 40 degree winter weather, except for one week of 32 degree temps to kill the bugs/insects and no snow. We don't like shoveling the snow or driving in it.
