It's miserably hot here in Florida too currently 94º ... and humid! Even under the shade of a tree there's no respite from the heat! I should go to the beach!

Lucky you Hetty! The pump broke while we were out of town (the house-sitting kid didn't fill the pool when it got low, and pumps running on dry air is bad) so our pool has a nice algae bloom. *sigh*

You got that right! There is nothing at all in your garden that is worth heat stroke. My garden usually looks GREAT in May... and then it looks GREAT again sometime in the middle of October. I'm not taking ANY photos of what happens to it in between.
