This has been growing lately, just wondering it this is a weed. I think the leaves are so pretty. I live in Central Florida and moved here in December.
If anyone can let me know I would appreciate an answer.
Thanks in advance.

Niruri (phyllanthus niruri) AKA chamberbitter.
Can be used as an herb. Apparently good for kidney stones...

But... Incredibly prolific...
Said to begin flowering as a two week old seedling!

This is one to toss in the trash, or in the grill, just don't add it to the compost pile!

Edit:
Phyllanthus urinaria

MsPalm, Welcome to Florida & to ATP! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!
Ummmmm, even tossing it ~~~ you now live in Florida ~~~ you sorta have to get used to the weeds. Hilarious! Hilarious! That stuff is everywhere & I mean EVERYWHERE. The best you can hope to do is keep it out of your planting beds but it will keep showing up. Rolling my eyes.

You're welcome Linda. Smiling

Honestly, it is a pretty plant & it sure is xeric. If it didn't disappear in the winter it might actually be something to consider using for lawn material. Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

If it didn't get so tall, I'd rationalize not pulling it out. There is hope though. If you can get them pulled before they drop seeds, you should see WAY fewer next year.
