My daylilies have been transplanted several times, to different homes as well as different places in my gardens. I have lost the ID for this, and although I've been searching and searching for a similar photo, I can't figure it out. There are so many knowledgeable daylily people on this site, I'm hoping someone recognizes it. I'm trying to re-label all my plants. (The photos have been taken different times during the day.) Thanks for taking a look!

With that watermark, it is obviously a Munson daylily.

I did a little research on Munson daylilies. Perhaps it is 'Chamonix?' Although I don't recall ever buying it ... I suppose it could have been mislabeled. I'll continue to search.

If the bloom size and height match yours, I definetly think it is Chamonix.

Peggy, the markings look very similar to 'Amber Sunset' but from what I've read the coloring is slightly different.

Becky, it very possibly could have been a bonus plant, although usually I make notes in my gardening notebook about which bonus plants I've received and 'Chamonix' is not among those notes. (Then again, some of my gardening files/info were lost during one of my moves.)

I think I've decided for now -- after looking at many many photos and descriptions -- that it must be 'Chamonix.' Thank you so much for your help, all. I love this website, and this forum!

daylily blooms can vary in color from place to place
take this one even in my own garden the color can be different.

Peggy, yes, you are absolutely right -- and the colors can vary from 6 a.m. to noontime to 9 p.m.! Sometimes I'm afraid it's an exercise in frustration to try to label all my plants. Mostly I just try to enjoy them. And with daylilies, to be honest, you don't have to try too hard ;-)
