This one may be a little hard as there is no flowers and it is a large plant hard to get a picture of.
Looks something like a huge hard leave fern

Sandy: That looks to be a Cycad of some sort, maybe Zamia?

It does not have a trunk that can be seen. And it is huge, all the leave stalks seem to be growing out of the ground

I forget to add that the plant in the second picture is growing on a rock/fountain

I am not either what is odd is the one growing on the fountain in the middle of the stream, it has been there many years with out getting much bigger.
have a call in to the park hoping they can tell me what that is and the name of the snake I took a picture of

What did the snake look like, was it in the water near this plant?

As it is not a plant I guess it is alright to post.
It was at the other end of the stream.

It might be a light form but the colors are way to bright and light
