Have fun at the BD party, Tom!

I also love Blyth, Ghio and Keppel Irises. Tom Johnson's are my new love -- it seems like everything he produces just really appeals to me!! Lovey dubby

I've seen Iris by Keppel - but I don't know any Irises by Blyth or Ghio. Do you know some Irises by these hybridizers I can look up ? Smiling

The best way to do this is to use the ATP database and search by hybridizer. I just looked there and couldn't figure out how to do that -- but I know it can be done because it's been discussed here before. I hope someone knowledgeable checks in soon as sees this thread..............

For starters -- for Blyth: Copatonic, Decadence, Country Kisses, Crazy For You

for Ghio: Cupid's Arrow, Day on the Bay, Designer Label

Tom Johnson: Disguise, Fashion Diva, French Riviera

I already found a lovely TB Iris by Blyth that I want (Beach Girl) and Ghio has some wonderful Louisiana Iris that I would also like to add to my garden. Thanks for introducing me to these two
hybridizers!

go to database for iris, and search .....but only type in Hybridizers name, that should bring up all their iris that are listed at the ATP database.

Why can I not make this work? If I type in Hybridizer: Tom Johnson -- all I get is the Iris Tom Johnson (cultivar).

Mary Ann,
Go to the iris database then choose search by characteristics. This will bring you to a screen where you can search by pattern, color, hybridizer, etc. In the hybridizer space type in the hybridizer's name, hit search then prepare to be awed Drooling

My preference is for blends and for ruffles. It's also a little like preferring $100 bills. I still like getting ones, twos, fives, tens, twenties and fifties. Big Grin
