This seedpod split open/ripen last week of July 2015. It contained approximately 45 seeds that looked viable.

Gigi - give the individual seeds a little squeeze; if they are totally flat they are not viable; if they have a plump part they should be.

Thanks Hetty I did. I tossed 25+ that were flat or semi-flat.
