Got this a couple of weeks ago. Looks like it's a cross with a Schefflera, . Has the strange name of "Fun Bun". Don't know who came up with that. I still haven't worked out where to put it, other than in the queue of other plants awaiting a permanent home.

"Fun Bun" - what a ridiculously silly name for a species Philodendron! Your plant is Philodendron goeldii, and it does look something like a Schefflera, especially when it gets large. It can grow almost as large as a P. bipinnatifidum.

Of course, I've already produced several rounds of hybrids featuring this plant as one of the parents. I showed several at IAS. I have one now that is goeldii crossed with one of my dwarf species Philos, and I may show that one at this year's IAS.

Looks like a healthy plant - needs a much larger pot!

LariAnn, when I resarched it the references to it suggested it was a goeldii cross, but no indication what it was crossed with. It seems the cross was done in the Netherlands. I've seen other named plants from the Netherlands which were just species propagated by tissue culture and sold as cultivars. I wonder whether they've just done that with this one.

Mine's going into the ground (in due course, when I have the time ). Does it grow as a "tree" the same as bipinnatifidum, or does it climb?

It grows as a "tree", being a typical Meconostigma, which is what bipinnatifidum is.

Poor thing is all flopped over now. It will be interesting to watch it grow...

It's not actually flopped over, just seems to be the way it spreads its leaves. The petioles are harder/more rigid than other Philodendrons. Thet's why at first glance I didn't think it was a Philo, until I looked at the label. And my next impression was that it was mislabelled.

Do you pull them up or leave the brances like that???
