I just noticed that my Orange Clown has a very interesting sawtooth edge this year for some reason. Or has it always been there and I never noticed?

I have never grown Orange Clown - So I cannot comment on if it normally has an edge like that. I really like the small sawtooth edges. I like little details like that.

I guess I am an understated gal.

Pay no attention to the decrepit gardener's thumb in the one picture! LOL! My hands get seriously abused this time of year (as I'm sure all of yours do too!)

Ha! My thumb nails are always nasty stained from pinching off dead blooms this time of year. Yours look good!

I wear those new Atlas Garden Gloves -- they have saved my fingers this year!!!

I'm with you. I get my nails done every couple weeks, even during the summer, and the shellac on my right thumb got stained brown! That shellac is supposed to be indestructible. I'm wearing dark green now, hoping it will cover the stains and not turn brown. Luckily my nail person knows what I do all summer and where I get those icky blue-gray nails. Can you deadhead wearing the Atlas gloves?

I live head in the evening. Nicer than the yucky blooms, but not sure you could do it with gloves.

I dead head with and without the gloves -- those things are like skin when you put them on. I love them!!
