I bought this a while back at the local Home Depot and all the tag says is "rex begonia".

Would anyone be able to give a proper ID?? Sorry the picture is so dark... didn't realize how shady it was. If you need a better picture I can get another one a bit later...

Thank you!!

I hate losing plants....I know they are "just plants" but when you nurse them along and baby them and get them to grow, bloom, and be pretty and they die....it's like losing a friend..... Crying

My guess would be one of the Begonia hybrids such as 'Gryphon' or 'Pegasus'. They are also both part of the Proven Winners line (I see the PW on that tag.) Smiling

Thanks for that info, Bamira. I wondered if that might be the case but I hadn't taken the time to research it.
They must have neglected to trademark the 'Gryphon' name and were losing out on the fees for using the name. Rolling my eyes.

Yes, it looks just like one I had awhile back: Begonia (Begonia Pegasus™) that was tagged Begonia Gryphon and I see it's now called Begonia Pegasus.
