Becky- 'Keep On Keeping On' is a beautiful bloom. Thank-you, and I agree with you. Love the combo of the bright yellow and soft orange together.

Well, here is one of the 3 new plants that I said had buds on it and was blooming today. It's about 3 weeks late in its normal bloom cycle this summer. But I am extremely glad that it finally bloomed albeit a tad bit late.

We don't have any color on the trees here either, the birch has issues. It is a huge white birch that was struck by lightening at some point. The top was blown out and there's a wide open spiral all the way to the ground, it was like this when we bought the house almost 25 years ago. It is always the first tree to loose it's leaves.

Still a few daylilies open today, Moon Mountains, Alone Again, Extra Effort, Origami King, Cimarron Rose is on rebloom, Labyrinth of Solitude, Outrageous, Tall Blonde, Waterpocket Fold and some sdlgs. None picture worthy after the cool night. Maybe with the warm up coming the first of the week.

Char- I added Cimarron Rose this year, and am anxious to see its large beautiful red blooms next year. Does it normally rebloom for you, and is it a good Northern performer for you?

Thanks,
Gale

Gale, I'm not sure if Cimarron Rose will rebloom consistantly for me. I get very little rebloom here normally even on rebloomers bred for the north. Cimarron Rose was new here last summer so this is it's first year blooming. I sure hope it reblooms every year, that would be awesome! I purchased it after seeing everyone posting gorgeous images in the monthly bloom threads and have been very happy with it so far.
