Hi guys. I had an orchidy day today. First thing this AM, I made a video with my new PlantCam of Cattleya forbesii opening (over the last 2 days).

Then after I deadheaded the daylilies and sprayed the orchids (my Bulbophyllum pahudi was open) and did my once a week houseplant watering, I headed off to meet a friend who wanted to buy her first cattleya. But I left a bit early so I could check out what was in bloom at Black Jungle.

So then I met my friend and took her to Roger West's house. All of his orchids were outside. Many were in sheath or budding up. We each bought 2 orchids. I bought a Rhycholaelia digbyana in bud!! And Lc. Gaskell-Pumila 'Azure Star.' http://www.pcorchidsinc.com/pc...



Then we went to lunch to a networking event where I got to talk about.....orchids!

When I came home my Platystele umbellata had arrived from Ecuagenera!!
