Thanks Dave for the tutorial. I'm not brave enough when it comes to using the computer so I never explore. This info was really easy to learn and since my data base is in need of repair this maybe my answer to keeping track of all my plants. Thanks again for taking the timeā™„

Ok so I had to watch the video to use the data base. But now I broke it. I went to Genista lydia Bangle and up came the different flower beds I created and I checked two different ones because it grows in two places and now an error message came up and I broke the whole program!!!!!!! Sorry.

Really the system should not be "breakable" so there might be a bug somewhere.

What exactly did the error message say? Are there steps that I could take on my own list to reproduce this error?

I went to Genista lydia Bangle in the plant database. Then I hit add to my plant list. Up popped a list of the flower beds I had created, so I hit 11C and 11B , it grows in two beds and I hit enter and up popped "Select a status".

Then when I was trying to get really creative and enter a date for the event I entered just the year 2011 and up popped the year 4000.

I really am not good with computers.

So I deleted the entry and redid it and it is still coming up with the year 4000. Just leave me with a computer for 5 minutes and I'll mess is up . . . . .SORRY!
