I just called and she was very nice. They are all out of catalogs but the gift certificate was mailed 8/4. She did give me the amount and will Email me the number so I can order!

After going over my photos of this past spring, along with purchases I made last year that didn't bloom (I did not expect everything to bloom), I can delete some that are much too close to those I already have, so it's much easier now.

She (Allison) did send me the information. I thanked her and can now have fun making the final selections.

For anyone sending a gift certificate from any company - consider having the company notify the recipient of the gift (and the number) so they can review the catalog.

:-)

I should have said to have the company notify the recipient by Email, not snail mail.

Forgot to mention earlier how much I like the options you're considering. Those purple-plum blends with some bronzed warmth are so alluring to me. I'm looking forward to seeing Xanthippe's Halo bloom, one I recently received from Susan- stilldew.

Me, too! Susan is very generous!

Since I have two dark red ones, a few yellow/gold, several blue or blue/cream, the dark ones are very appealing.

Social Graces and Montmartre are both excellent choices!!! Queen's Circle is beautiful but tends to bloom down in the leaves (at least for me). I don't know if you were going for the softer colors or not but if you can stand something brighter Brilliant Idea might be a nice choice. Mine hasn't bloomed yet but I have it's sister plant Revision which was gorgeous on it's maiden bloom. Maybe someone else who grows either or both of them might have some input.

Because it IS fun! Please let us know the final choices! Remember that you can order iris that are not in the sale catalogs too. They aren't on sale but are still available.

If you really find an iris that you really want but keep putting it off until next year you might want to think about ordering it.
I was finally going to order Skywalker from Schreiner's this year and they don't carry it anymore. Grumbling
Lesson learned....
