I have a mature Kiwi vine that is growing up against my house. It reaches up to the eaves and covers a big section of wall. I am having my house power washed and painted, what do I do with my Kiwi vine? It isn't gowing on anything, like a trellis, but it covers the wall, should I trim it down, do I just pull it away from the wall, and hope that once all is done, it will somehow just get itself back into shape, it has gotten a bit wild, and is reaching out across one garage door, so maybe trimming isn't a bad idea, but I don't want to harm it. How much trimming can it handle? It's probably 12 ft high, almost as wide and extends almost 3 ft in to a flower bed, with a few random arms reaching out farther.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have never grown kiwi but from what I understand is that it's pretty hardy.I would like to think you could cut it down enough to get it out of the way. But I would wait to see if someone else thinks that too.
