Paul you have some really great Farm stands over by where you live. Those veggies look extra yummy!

What a beautiful assortment of veggies! But... the artichoke appears to be just leaves -- where is the "bud" or whatever the thing that is edible is called?

It is called a choke.....if left to mature it is a blossom. Artichokes are mainly ornamentals here. Here is one with chokes.....

That doesn't sound good about the hail.

Maybe I should plant my Artichokes in the flower gardens.

You would have a real cottage type garden!

It's so much fun going to the farmers markets. We have several outstanding ones in our area that have everything you can imagine, and it all has to be handmade. The breads are to die for!!!
