We just got it and its 1 foot tall and budding out. I used some milorganite in the hole and Miracle grow today. How tall can it get this year if just planted?

I would not be concerned about how big you can get it this year. Fall is just over a month away and it will be going dormant. I would be more concerned with getting in ready for winter. Keep it well watered so the roots can get established.

I have had it two years and it's all budded up now - 4' tall - but I don't know if I will be seeing flowers... (zone 4B)
