Hi! So...I moved to upper Minnesota from Georgia 2 years ago. Last year I planted Stargazer Lily bulbs into my newly readied flower bed. I am very grateful no one told me they aren't hardy in Zone 3 because I wouldn't have planted them and I would have missed out on two growing seasons of Stargazer flowers! They not only survived the winter, they, in my opinion, even look better this year! Stargazers DO grow in Minnesota!!

That sounds great and I know from personal experience here in Sweden that USDA zone maps rarely are very accurate (for our conditions). This is particularly true for many bulbs and perennials as snow cover, drainage and winter mulch is much more important than minimum temperatures.

I plant them in zone 4 here and they do great too.......we are bordering on zone 5 but more zone 4
