We have grown Rose F. Kennedy several years in our Zone 7 garden. It has been a good increaser and makes beautiful, distinctive blooms. David said it did not set as many pods this year as last. We have had some beautiful seedlings from it.

I could not get this cv locally so I ordered it in from a grower in Ontario in 2017. So 5 seasons growing in my garden and it is still only a double fan. No increase but no winter kill either. It has bloomed every year a few blooms and the blooms meet the stats as does the height of the scapes. The number of blooms per scape do not come close to the stats. It has prime real estate here so I can only assume this is not the right zone for this plant. I am sad to say it will likely be moving on

I have had this 3 years now, long enough to give a good report on it. The 1st 2 years it did not do much. it bloomed but not a lot. Stayed at 2 fans. After it finished blooming that 2nd year, it added 3 fans and started bulking up a bit. It did even better this year, despite 4 weeks of no rain. I won't say it increases fast, but it is now 8 fans this fall.

Purchased a 5 fan clump bare root from The Lily Farm late May 2023 after wanting for years, the cultivar was planted into a large pot for summering before fall planting. I have had the child plant Curtis S Noel for a few years so expecting RFK to do at least OK here [TX]

Same experience as that of Raven. Five years and no increase. History. Here and elsewhere, there seem to be such mixed reviews, almost as though there are different strains of the same cultivar. At any rate, it didn't like it here, an area that often has little snow cover, the fluctuating spring temps that characterize the interior of the country, and often hard late spring freezes. Such a negative experience that I am wary of its kids.
