Hey Alan, here's pics of my Christmas cactus that you gave me the cuttings. I've been growing under lights inside for the summer and outside in fall. I only got one flower last year but hope for more this year! Thanks again!

I separated my cuttings into two pots because I was afraid one might not make it and wanted to be sure to have one hopefully. Both are doing really well so far. It always worries me when I put them outside at first--the change in environment and all. Of course, if this heat doesn't ever go away, I guess they won't go outside. 115º this week--ugh!

You guys are killing me with those Christmas cactus. I just cannot keep them alive no Matter what I do.

I'm trying some semps for the first time right now and holding my breath. I over water so usually don't buy cactus or succulents.

I planted the semps you shared with me, Becky. Seem to be doing well enough so far, indoors, minimal water. Fingers crossed. I think they don't like our summer heat outdoors, right?

Good luck with the avo tree, Alan. I've started so many and can't remember if they ever made it into the ground! I adore avos and eat some everyday. Not an entire avo, maybe a quarter daily. Very good for you.
