As always, it's fun and educational to hear the podcasts.....

But I have to confess that my biggest problem with the podcast is finding the time to listen to them since they are typically about an hour long. I am also a visual learner, so it's hard for me to just stare at the MP3 audio player. I often will pull up another foxfire screen to peruse ATP or do some Googling while listening to the podcast. But when I do that, I find my attention is not completely focused on the podcast talk. So, I miss details.... in saying that .....

I want to say a BIG YAY!!! for the currently posted and up-coming YouTube videos Dave and Trish are and will be making! I am all on-board for this new expanded venture with them! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I think that is why the Not-a-Raffle Raffle and other videos are such a big hit .... We get to "see" what you are discussing/demonstrating (as well as see the kiddos which often delights everyone watching), which makes folks feel like they are talking one-on-one with the Whitingers!

I have hoped that you would start doing more videos and am so glad to hear that will be happening!

Thank you!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I forgot to mention that I am going to be planting more edibles within my gardens (which are typically ornamentals). I had been researching that concept before your podcast and was happy to hear that is the way you also garden. I don't have a lot of space living on a residential lot, so incorporating edibles within my garden beds with all my butterfly host and nectar plants is a great idea. Now I just need to find some southern heat hardy and disease resistant cultivars to try! Thanks for mentioning Feherozon sweet peppers and Jarrandale Winter Squash for my climate ... as well as when to plant and grow them in the south. Part of my lack of success is indeed my planting timing.

As always ... a humorous and educational podcast! I look forward to some videos about these particular plants, too! (Hint, hint ....!)

It's been awhile since I've been here and listened. Great episode...yes, this heat is awful. After the spring deluge comes the drought...blargh! We got a little bit of rain here in Montgomery county a few nights ago but nothing substantial.

I subscribed to your YouTube channel so I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all put up soon!

Happy gardening---btw, mine is a disaster! ;) It would be on the no-no list to your SFA friend.

I agree awesome podcast. I garden the way @dave does. I embrace the organized chaos. To others it looks messy, but I see beauty and life.

Thanks @ trish for mentioning something of the peppers. No worries about not posting the list.

Of course I was still listening! I even heard the Sesame Street discussion at the end nodding you guys are so goofy, I love it.

Hooray for the YouTube channel. That will be great.
Here is a pic of the garden at my old house that depicts my style:

I tried on ATP, Stitcher, and BeyondPod trying to hear the story Trish was telling at the end of the podcast. All of them cut her off!!!

Fun podcast is right! The laughing was infectious and the stories were cute! Almost laughed out loud when Dave said " It's not like I had time to change my lecture!" Oh My Goodness Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing !

Trish mentioned not watering all the plants, and it is sad this time of year when things start drying up and it is impossible to water everything. Although my garden is not dried up, there is very little blooming.

I'm listening during my lunch at work, so couldn't finish it, but I will get to it later.

Just curious if there's something wrong with my tablets, phones, or pc. Did trish say anything after she was going to start the sesame story again, or did she get cut off for everyone?

The podcast ended at 59:07 for me. I don't think the story was ever finished because Dave was asking so many questions, lol! Boy, does that have a familiar ring to it Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Yeah the end there is only a few seconds long. Trish got exasperated with me (and I was intentionally irritating her!!) Hilarious! The whole thing was quite humorous to me and I think she saw some humor in it, too. Smiling
