Just this morning, I was thinking I hadn't seen a post by you in a while. I'm glad you're back and I hope you enjoyed your visitors and your holiday. Next year, I am going to try growing sweet peas. I tried many years ago, but our hot dry summer and ground hogs (big burrowing rodents...) did them in. Next year, I'm going to try them in the very big pots with wigwams that I have covered in morning glories this year. The morning glories are stunning but they have over topped the wigwams and are swarming up over the deck rails!

its surprising how much can happen in a forum or blog when one is away from the computer for a spell,..i started catching up by answering to comments in the thread "Garden Pictures",..then headed for the blog,..getting there bit by bit.

Ah the Sweet Pea will grow well for you in PA,..providing you can keep the ground hogs at bay,..watering should make them reach for the sky,..mine this year were huge,..though just the one color,..a friend in Oregon sent me the seeds,..wild sweet Pea.

I hate to admit but i failed with my morning glories,..not even a seedling,..delighted to see your were successful .
