I have a volunteer in my 'tulip' bed, and am wondering if my Helianthus Lemon Queen has found its way across the yard. Do these look like the same plant?

The one on the left is American Burnweed (Erechtites hieraciifolius). The one on the right appears to be a perennial sunflower, although I couldn't say which one.

( Rolling on the floor laughing I don't want any Burn Weed but I'll be looking for the Lemon Queen; it's a beauty!)

LOL Greene--yes, I pulled that one from the web for comparison purposes with mine. To me, they look the same. It's amazing to me that you all can see such minute differences!! Thumbs up

I had never been able to see 'minute differences' until I started using digital photography. Before editing, each image is so huge that I am learning (gradually) to look for different details. Thumbs up
