I've checked into alot of different ways to heat. And rocket mass heater burns to fast. I work 2 jobs so I'm not home to keep it burning. I keep wanting to go back to the waste oil burner but that has its own set of challenges.
Ken, you will surely notice that it won't take that much more to heat your new sunroom this Winter. My attached greenhouse warms the rest of the house on sunny Winter days and I would always opt for an attached greenhouse rather than free standing, whenever possible of course.
That would be great, Ursula, since we will have two sets of French doors leading into the kitchen/great room, and those doors will more than likely remain open the majority of the time.

I just finished fixing the orchids I didn't take any pictures because it doesn't look that good the boss told me they would get some nice orchid pots to put them in but till then we had to make do with plastic nursery pots I cut all the bad stuff off of them put in some fresh bark. I wired them into the pots to keep them still. I did find two slugs tangled up in the old dead roots. The more I dug in them the more new growth I found. So hopefully they'll come through.... Keep your fingers crossed.
