My New Orleans Lady has another nice flush of bloom coming along, but still none of the flowers are double, hoping maybe some of the buds on the newer stem will be. I forgive it, though because I let the spider mites lunch on it for much too long.

Maybe mkb136 is using Celsius. 40C would be 103F.
Mkb, are you in Phoenix, AZ?

Mine are not flushing nearly as bright a color as yours, Joseph. Here's my current nice flush of bloom. Please excuse the plant's raggedy appearance, it got blown over in a storm just as the first buds were opening, so some flowers are bruised. (hence the step ladder in the second pic, holding the plant up)

Hi no Fla. these plants are so cool! It depends on the temps for color. I have a ton of Plumeria here also when they bloom in the fall hardly any scent temp has a bunch to do with it. As the brugs color changes in the cooler weather I have a awesome aurea here it cooler weather it has went from bright yellow to a orange in cold weather! Nol is striking in white then its like another blast when it changes color!! Older brugs we need to hang on to i have JT'S Pink Velvet here had it forever would never part with it. Confusion is a oldy but goody alot of these if your not lucky enough to keep them in the ground the older the plant better it gets!. Right now Miss Doris is blooming as well as Angels Enjoy. We have had a front go by rain like crazy plumeria look good wet brugs not so much lol

Mine took at least a couple of weeks, Kadie. Keep them warm, and not too wet.

I have some seeds that I planted 27 days ago that are just starting to pop, then again, I have some that I planted 2 weeks ago that are coming up now also. So there is really no set guideline as to how long they take to germinate.

My New Orleans Lady has finally made some double blooms, and wouldn't you know, I found the first one laying on the ground, half eaten by snails! Grumbling

Here's another, somewhat the worse for wear from rain yesterday, and high winds today. I had to hold the bloom still to get a picture. She still has a single or two as well, just to be stubborn!

So it has both single and double blooms? Very pretty.

And yeah - the rain really messes things up. Reduces my bloom period per flush here by way over 50 %.

It looks great. I just put one in soil today, sure hope it does as well, as yours is doing.

Another flush of blooms coming along here. Lots more true doubles but a few that are sort of one-and-a-halfs still. I've also got something that is biting the blooms off and I'm finding the best flowers lying on the ground. Very annoying!
