Just did another glucose level and called it in to the vet. It is still high, but lower then last night. He upped here insulin a bit. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Tom, hoping Patch is doing much better tonight, you are a good dad!

Also Thank you Paul and Tom for your information on checking ID's and thank you Tom for the pictures of Wintry Sky, (they are beautiful) I ordered a test plant today so hopefully I can have one less no ID next year!

I've found you sometimes have to play around with different combinations and descriptions, like trying violet, purple, or wine or cream, brown, etc. Another example is you may need to switch between bitone and bicolor.

Recently found a possible id for a soft brown historic thanks to a photo Sherry (@Henhouse) posted of Glen Ellen. I'll be growing these side by side to make a more positive assessment (thanks Sherry!).
Thumb of 2015-08-16/gemini_sage/f9b02a

Now here's one that kinda has me scratching my head as to how to describe it. How would you describe the colors and color classification?
Thumb of 2015-08-16/gemini_sage/6ece1c

I'd love to see your noids and work on solving some puzzles together!

PS - "Glen Ellen" is a must-have for me, and I have put it on my Wish List for next year. I think it is really a beautiful Iris. Smiling

Its a really lovely one! How tall is it? Is the bloom large? Something about the form makes me think it isn't a huge bloom...

Thank you for your reply. I haven't measured it but it is a normal height for a TB. The pictures I posted were from its first year to bloom. I found some from this year.
