Lincoln NE has a fine public garden that was built in 1930 and has continued to grow in beauty over the years.

So beautiful, so well maintained and such a nice place to visit.

My personal favorite is #31.

Thanks Arlene. Here is a drone view. The dome is truly a work of art.

Lovely tour, beautiful gardens! I really enjoyed it. The aerial views give a good idea of the layout.

The drone photos didn't impress me as much as yours did, Susan. They were lovely but in your photos I never got the feeling of major roads intersecting so nearby. It's still all so lovely.

When you are down in the garden, you really don't notice how near the streets and all that traffic is. It's nice to be able to drive by and get a view of the garden below. The trees around it that give it privacy are getting old. Most probably planted in 1930 when it was built. Hate to think of losing them. There is a rose garden across the street that we didn't get to today. In the fall volunteers dig up the bulbs and take lots of cuttings to carry over for the coming year. The colors vary from year to year, but always lots of coleus.

Coleus is so spectacular and so colorful that it deserves more praise than it gets.
