Very interesting! Buds are quite unique, too.

Love the second pic with the "miniature" people in the background. Big Grin

I love that oriental cross. And if it is fragrant, then it has all of the best within it. Lovely. I want one!

That pard cross has a nice broad stance in the petals (there probably official terms that I am lacking here) making it quite appealing.

And of special note: the lily bulbs I got from you are beautiful, perfect bulbs. You always do such a great job packing and labeling! Buying from Faraway Flowers is such a treat! Thank YOU!!!

Sign me up...either one or better still both, if they aren't beyond expensive, though I might blow a wad on them no matter. Patti

Neither will be excessively expensive I think as they are already propagated in significant numbers already. (That is, there are more than 500 in the world...) The problem is that they are all in Europe except a few...

I am blesses to have as many lilies I do one 150' row of them:) and they did not cost me much as someone who breds them and had tons of others left the state and got them for a song.

I love all the cat avatars as I have 4 cats one a golden blue eyed, 2 black and white, and one a ferel cat that if you saw him now you swear I was lying that he was ever ferel.

This is another posibility for next year. This is an O/T named Olympic Torch. I am not sure I like it all that much but it probably looks better in person

It certainly looks nice from here. It has a more oriental presence, don't you think?

Dee, we have a couple of "yeah, right they are feral" cats around here that have hung around so long we trapped them and had them spayed and neutered. I was told it was unlikely once released that they would return. Well, they returned form dinner the same night I let them go. So much for that theory. They keep the mole population at bay....gotta love that. Good to have you here ;) Do show us that nice row of lilies blooming.... I bet some are Buggy Lilies (that should be trademarked).

I'm with Barbara, I love that Olympic Torch.
Put me on the waiting list for that one.
I'm such a sucker for pink and coral!
Dee, a neighbor down the street feeds 70 feral cats. She has spayed/neutered all of them. She hangs birdfeeders from her trees and the cats just lounge around under the trees. I don't think they catch many birds as we have a terrific songbird population. My 2 dogs must scare the cats because we never see them in our yard. We had something digging around our foundation, under the porch, so my husband put up his trail cam. Oh my gosh you would not believe the wildlife that came through our yard at night! And everything came by and checked the spot that was dug out. Cats, coyotes, skunks, possum, deer, raccoons, owls and more cats.
Explains why we don't have mice! I'm wondering if the hole is a rabbit hole since so many predators were interested. We stopped blaming the dogs since the hole gets bigger at night when they are indoors snoozing. My big fear is it's a rattlesnake den. so far this spring, I have not seen snake skins, and I have seen little garter snakes, so maybe that means no big mean snakes this year.

The deer pruned all my fruit trees and roses, but left the daylilies and tulips alone. Nothing bothers the lilies!
