Hi Debbie, I just started collecting these pretty & easy to grow plants since Feb. this year. I only have starter plants of 'Jim's Red Trail' to offer at this time. I traded a month ago for starter plants of 'Pink Panther', 'Lil Lemon', & 'Country Star'. As they grow I'll take snippets & put in water to get rooted starts for trades. Do you have 'J. Red Trail' or would you be interested in a start as a trade for one of these?
Lovey dubby I'm wishing for 'Star of Bethlehem' --- 'Ember Lace' --- 'Suomi' --- 'Gray Lady' --- 'Jim's Persian Carpet' --- 'Edge of Night' - 'Jim's Lemon Zest'. Any or all would be welcome.
I grow african violets & have small starter plants of about 8 named beauties ( a couple are Russians) I can trade or I am also willing to send up to $6 for the small priority box ($5.95) if you have a few small starter plants or cuttings. I send up to 5 a.v. babies moist wrapped & out of pots easily in that box.
Well just get back with what you think. Be Blessed, Trudy

Hi Joann, Welcome to garden.org!

I grew a few Episcia's about 10 years ago and then downsized but I sure miss those beauties and one of these days I might just have to get a couple more! One place that I know sells them is Lyndon Lyon Greenhouse: http://www.lyndonlyon.com/CP%2... This company has a really good reputation and you can read reviews/recommendations from other garden.org members here: Lyndon Lyon Greenhouses, Inc.

Logee's Greenhouse has 2 Episcia listed for sale on this page: http://www.logees.com/browse-b... You can read recommendations by other members here: Logee's Greenhouses

I am desperately looking for Episcia cupreata seeds as this plant is not available in South Africa.
Please advise if you know of someone selling seeds

Many thanks

Hi Debbie,
Mom has been looking for some episias. She had some in Florida and loved them. Especially the chocolate soldier. We are looking for some now. Is there any chance you would trade for something else? Or perhaps sell some cuttings?

@artpenny23, Welcome!

This thread is quite old, originating over 3 years ago and it's the only post Debbie ever made on site so you might not get a reply to your question.

The best way for you to post your inquiry to see if anyone has Episcia plants or cuttings to trade would be here on the Plant and Seed Trading Forum but scroll all the way to the bottom of the main page here and start a new thread so that everyone will see it: https://garden.org/forums/view...

For the Subject line, you can type something like: Looking for Episcia's. In the message box, comment on what you have to trade or state that you are willing to send postage. I think we have a few members who grow Episcia's so I'm sure you will get responses and possibly be able to set up a trade or have someone send you plants/cuttings for postage!

Yes please watch out for posts like these. I got a treemail a couple days ago from someone wanting to trade or buy a philodendron I have. The person who mailed me had just joined the site the day they mailed. They had no other posts, no plants in the database, no photos, no plants in a plant list. In the course of our brief contact the person said something like 'I joined this site just so I could message you about this plant'. Now what does that sound like to you? Sounds suspicious to me.
