Thread OP

I still have lilies available for immediate shipping (cannot hold for spring-no cooler because no reliable power) There is still a good selection of Asiatics, OT hybrids and Orientals, and bicolor White Henry. Most individual lilies are no longer listed for sale due to low inventory and some will start growing soon. I do not expect to be able to ship the Asiatics much longer.
you can view them here:
http://buggycrazy.vstore.ca/

Lily specials are on the front page for your convenience.
Mixed orientals can include OT hybrids if you request. Most of the supersize bulbs are gone, but that means more bulbs fit into the box!

UPDATE, NO MORE LILIES WE ARE TOO WARM HERE AND TOO MANY ARE SPROUTED OR SOLD TO FILL ANOTHER BOX!
WISH YOU GUYS WERE WARM-NOT US!

Sure wish I could take some, but not at this time of the year here. I will say that if you want great bulbs, you can go wrong with the ones from buggy!

The reason everyone in other parts of the country are having bad weather is because I am having a clearance sale! So now you know, it is ALL my fault.

I'd love to buy some lilys, but alas, I must start working on the house again and that is where the majority of my money is going to be tied up again this year. Ratz...

Well, I have a little money, but too much snow, still three feet, almost four in some places.

Crossing fingers and toes Lisa will still be when the weather is OK here to plant.

I am afraid they are not going to keep long enough for you to thaw out. We have been having a normal winter (except for the killer freeze in early Dec.) so spring bulbs are blooming (some have finished) and the lilies are sprouting in storage.
Too bad for me, I rather liked having weather so bad I didn't have to be out in the fields.

I'm hoping the ones I bought from you last month Lisa will be safe snuggled in a insulated blanket in my garage on the wall that joins the house. Those bulbs were much too good to pass up. Hurray!

They may sprout but that requires careful planting, it is very difficult to ship them that way!
We are much too warm here, some bulbs have finished blooming already, I can barely force myself to go out and do a minimal amount of work so I missed the blooms. I wish we were unusually cold again, gave me a good excuse to stay in where it is peaceful.

Lisa, we all hope you are taking care of yourself. If anyone of us can do anything to help you please let us know. I would buy some more bulbs but, in MA the ground is still too frozen. We have had very little snow but, cold. Keep us informed on how you are doing.

Hey guys, do any of you have refrig in the garage that is in full of pop, etc. If so take a chance and order some and put in the refrig until you can plant.

Lisa, remember you can kill me now...for trying. LOL

I had an order of lilies a few years ago that had huge sprouts all curled round and round. Most of the sprouts broke off when I planted them and I got no bloom that year, but the next year I got tons of bloom, and digging to check, the bulbs had increased tremendously.

So, if a lily bulb is sprouted, does it really hurt to remove the sprout? Are you just going to lose a year of bloom, or won't the get enough light to keep them alive sometimes.

Lisa?

It depends on the size of the bulb. Large ones can survive, small bulbs with less resources to survive on can die. I lost many, many baby bulbs that were trampled one spring when they were just putting up shoots and they never came back.

Yes, thank you for the good information. . The ones I had that survived were good size, at least 14cm.
